7 New Black Belts
LIAM MILLION AGED 12 , LAURA WILSON 13, MEGAN PURVIS 9, EDEN FOOTES 10, HANNAH CALVERT 11 & DAN MCQUADE 16
Congratulations go to the six persons above who managed to successfully complete their black belt grading. After plenty of hard work and a display of high quality kata all six were awarded their Shodan (black belt first level).
Senior Instructor Kev Mitchinson made it clear after the grading that they had only just completed their apprenticeship in karate and now their real training begins!
Also there was a special award for Sensei Ronald Angus who was promoted to Yondan (black belt 4th level) in respect of thirty years dedication to his art. Sensei Ron is a respected teacher and a firm favourite with both the students and their families.
