Charity Fundraising

Now that the dust has settled after Christmas and the New Year we have started handing out the monies made at our charity competition last December 2nd. We made a point of donating to a mixture of well-known and lesser-known charities.

Below is a picture of Beth Moon and Summer Purvis handing over a cheque for £250 to Lynsey from the Macmillan Nurses Cancer Trust.

We have already donated £100 to Redhouse Community Group which is a non-funded community centre.

Another £395 went to the Redhouse Kids Charity Organisation.

Next week we are handing over £650 to St Benedict’s Cancer Hospice.

All of these are worthy causes and we are happy to give away every penny made from our competition to support them.
