Such a busy day for such a small squad. 8 students entered, individual medals = 5 gold, 8 silver and 5 bronze. Medals from teams and pairs, 9 bronze and 5 silver. Great medal toll of 32 medals from such a small group. Really pleased with the performance and effort and proud of my squads attitude today.
Another weekend full of memories after an eventful Kanzen international. We entered 19 students and for most it was a big test with their first major tournament since 2019. We won 32 medals in total including team events, there was no pairs kata and all our 9 gold were won in individual sections. 2 injuries in different age groups ruined some of our fighting and kata teams and the comp was the usual day of good and bad, highs and lows.
