SPRING GRADING 31.3.2018

SPRING GRADING 31.3.2018

It was a last-minute decision to hold a spring grading in 2018 and I did not expect such a good turnout. The White and red belt grading were competent enough although both groups will come to know what is expected of them at future gradings which is 100% maximum effort level.

The white with a red stripe grading was a step up from the lower grades in aspects of skill and work levels and this is how it should be with each group being more impressive than the previous one.

The two red and the yellow belt grading was extremely pleasing to me. The very young age of the students grading combined with their obvious knowledge and skill level made my day. The bulk of this group have worked hard to gain these skills, many times in the past I have had students just as good but it has came easy to them. For me it is more pleasing when the student shows more commitment and dedication to reach good standards.

A very youthful grading, a great overall standard and some fantastic kids not only in their karate but in their personalities too. I have a lovely squad of peewees on their way up the grading ladder.
